IGNITING A PASSION FOR THE BEAUTY THAT SURROUNDS US, MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE |
Ivette Kjelsrud’s work lives at the edge of abstraction and realism—where shadow meets light, movement meets stillness, and the visible begins to blur into the felt. Working in encaustic, oil, and mixed media, her practice explores themes of transformation, duality, and emotional resonance.
A lifelong traveler, her perspective is deeply cosmopolitan—shaped by a life lived across continents, cultures, and inner landscapes, and a continuing devotion to both inner and outer exploration. She creates from Montana—a personal retreat that supports clarity, silence, and the kind of beauty that doesn’t ask to be explained. Each piece reflects an ongoing process of inner alchemy—revealing, refining, and returning to what matters. Her paintings are collected internationally and held in private collections across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Her mission is simple: To add beauty to the world—and to invite others to connect more deeply with their own. Her work isn’t a monologue. Each piece invites the viewer in, asking them to feel something, see something, or remember something. It’s an open dialogue—between artist, material, and soul. |
